well I have finished the little blue and teal doggy for cheeky Riley Sean and I am now knitting a cream and beige bunny for Lacey Mai. Received a lovely pattern for hedgehogs from Little Cotton Rabbits and will start on them for the twins when the 'pets' have been completed. Been a bit off colour-hence no updates recently but I am now ok.
got some new specs and trying them out. A bit different from my last ones but I am getting there. Hubby has made lunch so have to go. More updates later and pics if I can remember how to do it.

Well hi there world! this is my first attempt at 'blogging' so please be patient with me. I am now retired after spending 16+ years with Leeds City Council Planning Dept and loved almost every minute. I made lots of friends there but sadly had to leave them behind when I moved from Yorkshire to Lincolnshire. Not far away you say-however, I don't drive and have no wish to since my nerves won't stand it but love to go back and visit family and my best friend Eileen. I have 4 lovely grandchildren as you can see from these photos. they are bigger now-all of them and I have some more up-to-date photos to post (when I get around to it). Today is Saturday and as good a day as any to start a blog. I have spent most of today reading other peoples blogs especially that of +Julie Williams at +littlecottonrabbits. She does some wonderful things with knitting needles and wool. I am truely inspired. I read Simply Homemade and need to have 'busy hands'. I knot loads when we go to Spain to our mobile home there. I love taking photos and will have more to post later. I am off to finish my jumper now that I have been freshly inspired and my lovely hubby has made me a lovely cuppa of decaf coffee. Will post a photo of the finished jumper when done. Looking forward to writing more. Hope you enjoy the read.
